Dr. Peacock began building his office in 1997 while completing a fellowship in Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. Before that he graduated from Vanderbilt University and entered medical school at UT Houston Texas Medical Center.  Dr. Peacock then went to Saint Joseph Hospital for his internship then for a three year residency in ophthalmology at Hermann Hospital and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He opened his doors to the Rio Grande Valley in 1998 and has been practicing here ever since. Some of the procedures we perform are:


ptosis repair (droopy lids) in adults and children

blepharoplasty (removal of fat pockets and excess skin)

ectropion repair (lid turned out)

entropion repair (lid turned in)

lacrimal reconstruction in adults and children

tumor removal and reconstruction from eyelids and orbit

chalazion removal (stye)

removal of the eye with integrated moving implant

orbital fracture repair
